Women in construction
At ASD we are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across our whole business.
With construction being the largest sector in the UK economy, and the CITB estimating that we need 216,800 new construction workers by 2025, we want to make sure that we can develop workplace facilities and equipment for purpose e.g., PPE and amenities, as well as modern technologies to promote new career opportunities.
Breaking Down Barriers
We are engaging with dedicated organisations, like Women in Construction (WIC) who are committed to encouraging women into the construction industry with best practice examples.
Our aim is to drive diversity in recruitment, support equality in career progression, improve working conditions, change perceptions and promote role models who inspire the next generation of women in construction.
Modern methods of construction
At ASD Build, we recognise that our operations have a significant impact on the environment and are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. From the sourcing of materials to the construction process, we implement sustainable practices that minimise waste and conserve natural resources.
Our homes are designed with energy-efficient features, such as dual-paned windows and insulation, to reduce the amount of energy used for heating and cooling. We also prioritise using recycled and environmentally friendly materials whenever possible. Our goal is to not only build homes, but to build a better future for the planet. By continuously improving our environmental practices, we aim to leave a positive impact on the world for generations to come.

Building Stronger Communities
ASD is committed to delivering a sustainable legacy in partnership with our clients, local authorities and local community stakeholders, in all the geographical areas of our projects. We appreciate the impact that our projects and construction work can have on local areas and make sure we plan to manage the impact of our work.
At our sites, we have a community engagement plan to ensure that we communicate with the local residents, respect the local neighbours, and provide opportunities for locals to raise any issues or provide feedback. As part of our own social responsibility, we will look to support social enterprises and local community organisations in their activities.
